BMW M635CSI   (E24)

Registered in June 1998

Atlantis Blue with Lotus White Leather.   Usual M6 equipment including electric front sports seats, air conditioning, sunroof, central locking, hi-fi speaker system, electric windows and exterior mirrors.

In addition this car was ordered with Anti-theft lock, Interior headlight adjustment, and 17" genuine Alpina alloy wheels.

The M6 is a very different car to the 635 and the two shouldn't be confused. Powered by the 3.5 24v straight six the M635 had 286bhp and was capable of 158mph, 0- 62 in 6.4seconds. Only 524 RHD cars were built between 85-89 and just over 100 of those being highland models.   The BMW E24 is still relatively affordable to buy and run, with the recent increasee in prices of 911's and the early E9 3.0CSL the M635 is a very sensible investment.
This car has had four owners, although I believe the first may have been BMW GB, and the second and third were husband and wife.

It has covered 161000 miles and has a comprehensive service history with 10 main dealer stamps and the 14 stamps from a specialist; from its initial PDI in 1988 through to June 2000 at 149,000 when it has the timing chains replaced.  There are MOT's to support his from 1991 - 2006 when the car was parked up and left in storage until the end of last year.

There are two keys and one anti-theft key, first aid kit, glovebox torch (not working), full toolkit, and original book pack.

It's not perfect, but it is now running and does drive really well;  you could run it as tatty daily drive or with a little investment and effort it could be beautiful once again.

Since  removing it  from storage  it has had a major service using genuine BMW parts, new radiator, all four callipers have been rebuilt and reconditioned, it has also had new front pads and brake hoses all round and I have refurbished the Alpina wheels.  It runs really well and the brakes work fine (i've done 20 miles in it this morning).
